The Next Step
We established the office of the Trust in London. As Head Quarter of
a developing International Charity, we need money for the equipments, office
rent, staff salary etc. We have prepared a Basic budget for this purpose.
To make your generous contribution, |
To accomplish our mission we shall be using Micro-finnance as our tool. Some uses The term Micro-credit to refer to Micro-finance as well.
For Micro-Finance we will be using the Murabaha mode of transaction. Instead of having a large number of permanent staff, we are planning to go into networking and partnership with existing Muslim NGOs run by concerned Muslims.
We plan to have six projects in different areas, for £10,000-00 each. We will be providing them with Recycling Capital fund.
Once we have gone through the difficult stages of our Experiment at least for a year, and found out the difficulties and their solutions, we plan to make our experience available to other International Muslim Charities, by publishing a study on the whole program. We have already consulted several of them. They want us to provide them with the result of our work, so that they decide to undertake this program as well.
Given the situation, we are convinced that we can easily create a situation where it will become possible to put several hundred million pounds worth of capital, into action as a recycling fund for poverty alleviation, by various international charities, as a result our experiment.
Our total needs for the first year is of £100,000.00
Attached is a plan of Implementation from one of our selected
partners, through whom we shall undertake our first program. It is
also a sample for our patrons to have idea of what practical shape our
work will take.
In practice it is done through Group Interaction. A group is formed and a program based on basics of Islam is organised. Once the group proves itself able and agreeable to follow the rules then, actual micro-investment program is started with them.
There are detailed rules and regulations for the groups to follow.
We have studied the rules and found them very comprehensive. In fact because
of too many NGOs operating in Bangladesh, something like NGO culture has
developed and the people are now fully conversant with those ideas and
rule used for the purpose of development.
